New
EMV-Ready Software Stack
Teridian
Semiconductor Corp., a leader in the design and manufacture of mixed-signal
semiconductors ICs for world markets, announced a smart card reader software
stack, which will facilitate design of Teridian’s 73S1112F and 73S1121F
controller-based smart card reader ICs into ready-to-use smart card reader
modules, compatible with the international standards EMV4.1 (level 1),
ISO7816-4 and JICSAP. |
 |
73S12xx
Teridian Semiconductor
Corp., a leader in the design and manufacture of mixed-signal semiconductors
ICs for world markets, unveiled its new Teridian 73S12xx family of 8-bit system-on-chips
dedicated to low-cost smart card readers. Targeted applications include
smart card readers embedded into laptops and USB-connected PIN-pad smart
card readers. Applications include identification and digital signature
for corporate and government deployments, as well as home-banking schemes
such as the MasterCard Chip-Authentication-Program. |
 |
73S8024RN
Teridian Semiconductor Corp., a leader in the design and manufacture of mixed-signal
semiconductors for world markets, today announced its new 73S8024RN single
smart card interface integrated circuit (IC), which is fully approved
by NDS and ideal for applications requiring compliance with the ISO-7816-3
and EMV4.1 standards. |
 |
71M6513H
The
world’s first true system-on-chip for industrial poly-phase power
meters, Teridian's new 71M6513H integrates a 21 bit delta-sigma-delta converter,
32-bit compute engine, MCU, RTC, LCD driver, and ultra-precision voltage
reference and provides better than 0.1% accuracy with only a few low cost
external components. |
 |
73M2901CE
The
new 73M2901CE low speed modem integrates a data pump, controller, and analog
front end in a 3.3V device with a powerful "AT" command host interface.
The modem reduces external component count/cost by incorporating many features
like parallel phone detect, Line-In-Use and Ring detection in software without
additional components required, resulting in a 25% cost and 35% footprint
reduction compared to other solutions on the market today. |
 |
73S80XXR
Teridian Semiconductor
now offers three new low-cost smart card interface ICs with outstanding
noise and current performance for use in conditional access, payment and
identification environments. Designated 73S8024R, 73S8004R, and 73S8010R
these mixed signal devices provide a stable, low-noise interface compliant
with the ISO-7816 standard between any host microcontroller and a smart
card. The 73S8024R and 73S8004R implement the control interface between
card and host as dedicated digital I/Os, while the 73S8010R implements a
standard I2C interface bus for interfacing with the host. |
 |
78Q2120C
The
78Q2120C is a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet transceiver. It includes
an integrated Media Independent Interface, ENDECs, scrambler/descrambler,
dual-speed clock recovery, and auto-negotiation functions. The device
